ROCK GARDENS

Rock gardens are compositions of plants combined with a small or large part of the garden covered by rocks which act as the main or equivalent visual stimulus to the plant. Ideally, the rocks have a homogeneity and a naturalness in their set up.  Many types of plants can be used, depending on the visual result we wish to create. Some plants which are frequently used with rock gardens are cacti and succulents, mediterranean plants, alpines and connifers. There are many other plants which can be showcased in such conditions.
